Aquarius: Ace of Disks x 5 of Wands
As we continue to celebrate Aquarius season, February hands you a new material opportunity to compete for what you want. Throw your hat in the ring and show up with your game face on! Do not sit this one out. Engage in shameless self promotion and perfect that 15 second elevator pitch. We are not above bragging or psyching your rivals out, either! A strategy that allows you get the upper hand in a race for limited resources may well pay off. Be prepared to walk to the talk the entirety of this journey though. This may look like defending your work, products, idea, beliefs, physical self/ body, answering questions, facing challenges or put downs. Accept every opportunity that comes your way this month, Aquarius. The more active and visible your are the in arena you are trying to dominate the more influential, and dare I day threatening (it's OK to be feared sometimes) you become. Don't dish criticism that you can't take though; many a worthy adversary or friendly competition also want what you are striving for.
Pisces: The Wheel of Fortune x The High Priestess
Put blindfolds on this month Pisces, and sink into your intuition and your body for true sight. You won't be able to precisely calculate your direction or the "correct" decision through logic or any practical discourse because the math won't be mathing. These are matters best left for the High Priestess, whose message is always to engage and listen to our intuition. This is the only wisdom you need this month. With the Wheel of Fortune, larger energies/ plans/ schemes are in control; you aren't. You must surrender. You are on a course of fated meetings, and events; the only way to navigate these changing tides is with your intuition. Boons and blessings are likely, serendipity, and happy accidents. Aries: The Hanged Man x The Fool
February is a roller coaster this month, Aries, with fits and starts of stasis and initiation. You may find yourself going back and forth between action and inaction, but both phases are equally important! Moment or days of discomfort or roadblocks should be used for keen observation. You may think you're stuck or that your plans have been ruined but the Hanged Man is an opportunity for seeing things from a new or different perspective. Pay attention to what get's turned on its head and seriously consider if this inversion of sorts doesn't look or feel better this way. Maybe you've been looking at a situation or relationship or plan the wrong way all along and this month you finally have that "ah ha!" moment that reignites your inspiration and momentum. February may be also a time for learning and healing before taking a risk, starting a big new project or taking a long, far away trip. The Fool is the energy of adventure, saying yes even if the road ahead is uncertain. This is beginner's luck, this is childish enthusiasm. The Fool never loses because the are unafraid, truly green; ignorance is bliss. The Fool activates the Hanged Man by interrupting rigid plans, by disturbing the inflexible. We plan, the Universe laughs. Be mutable, and flexible and changeable in your beginnings and initiations this month. You will make a grand start, but it won't be exactly what or how you intended.
Taurus: 3 of Wands x 9 of Disks
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail, Taurus. Begin February in research mode about how you will gain more, of whatever you seek to gain more of. This is the realm of wealth, comfort, domestic bliss and peak pillow princess energy! This highlights the home and other intimate material spaces, possessions, design, art and beauty. But you may only be able to access it through some very specific future planning. Create a clear foundation for gain by establishing the who's, what's, where's, why's of the matter. The 3 of Wands asks you to do some research, engage value-based decision making and forward planning. What are your must-haves and your deal breakers related to the matter at hand? You may be framing question about whether to do or not to do based on ease, pleasure, aesthetic, feel or style. This is great energy under which to remodel a room or home, change residences (for more not less), a personal makeover or update your look in some way. Gemini: The Magician x 3 of Cups
How will you create magic in your social and intimate lives this month, Gemini? Also, do not be quick to divulge information about yourself. Lean into mystery and preserve your peace of mind by even acting a bit dumb. Make: 'I don't know,' or 'Oh, I'm not sure', or 'let me think about it and get back you' your go to phrases! Hasty decisions, lack of information, or incorrect information may be your undoing. Scorpio: 4 of Cups x 2 of Swords
Complacency, settling, ignoring feelings or facts, or keeping on rose-tinted glasses could be creating indecision and stagnancy in your mind. Your path to activation, progress and wholeness is through decision making. However, you can't make all the necessary decisions you need to right now because you are (willfully) missing a piece of essential information. Not accepting is not the same as not knowing. What you do KNOW (whether by evidence or intuition) to be true that you may be refusing to see and acknowledge because it's too painful or hard, or takes you away from an idealistic point of view you currently possess? About the 4 of Cups I always say: you can't stay on the beach forever. Inevitably, the mosquitoes show up, the tide rolls in higher and higher or a storm looms over the horizon. You cannot stay here-- wherever here is for you right now (mentally [especially], maybe emotionally, less so but also physically). Surrender to acceptance, you have to leave a comfort zone. Start with the most important and urgent decision (even if the outcome is unknown), the following decisions will be easier and more fluid as you go, you just need to disturb the current languidness with one decision right now. Pay attention to what may be causing you the most pain, or what is making you forlorn. You ain't gotta go home (indeed, there may bot be a "home", place of absolute rest & comfort) but you gotta get the hell up outta here!
Sagittarius: 6 of Wands x 8 of Disks
Do the Naomi Campbell walk to collect your award, check, credit, recognition, degree, and overall FLOWERS, Sagittarius because you are victorious! Or at least you should be allowing yourself to lean into and accept victory for work you have completed time and time again, victory for work you have mastered. The 8 of Disks is a journey to perfection through repetition; it may not all always be fun, work seldom is, but you're damn good at it. What practices, rituals, nine to fives, crafts, talents etc have you been in deep and effective study or creation in? It's time to pick some of the fruit of this long-growing tree! Claim your contributions and make sure your name is clearly printed in the author/creator line. This recognition is tied to material matters, such as job, your career, hobbies, any work your create with your hands over and over again, and have been in the practice of doing for a long time. This is a great time to submit your work for review, for publishing, for an award, a grant, or just showcase it in your community or to any local audience, even a lover or a friend. Your are valuable, your work is valuable and much needed. Put it in places where you and it can be seen and celebrated!
Capricorn: Queen of Swords x Kings of Cups
Two things: intellectual precision and emotional intelligence. The tasks at hand may be quite serious with high stakes, but you have both the mental and emotional capacity to preside over all matters with insight and care. Teachers, mentors, parents, legal professionals, care/health providers are all indicated here… meaning the characteristics these professions ideally possess (not in reality but ideally) are what you need to embody. How's your bedside manner? Can you tell a harsh truth compassionately? You will have a to execute a precise dance between being fully and wholeheartedly emotionally aware but still navigating your environment or tending to your matters in a seemingly dispassionate way, one which privileges, science, truth, and real justice over your own personal feelings or beliefs. This may require you to carry many things at once, to hold others feel in tension with what unequivocally true. You could be making decisions, judgements or rulings that effect others' lives more than your own. You might be or become involved in Healing Justice work. You definitely will not be able to shrink away from responsibility because at least a few others are looking at you to explain or translate something to them. Sorry, but this is not where you collapse and cry. You may be required to create and hold space for those younger, more vulnerable or less knowledgeable than you. Put on your teacher's cap and consider deeply what it means to work or behave ethically (in whatever work/ relationship/ dynamic you do).
